Biography

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am the founder of Drops of Youth Aesthetics. I am a Registered Nurse and have 13 years’ experience working for the NHS. I graduated at Cardiff University in 2010, with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. I started my nursing career working on a Trauma and Orthopaedic ward in the University Hospital of Wales; later progressing to a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Wound Healing. My interest in skin and Dermatology then lead to my current role as a Macmillan Skin Cancer Specialist Nurse for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

Since becoming a Nurse, my passion for Aesthetics and skin care has continued to grow. Having acquired a variety of clinical and managerial skills over the years as a NHS nurse, I decided to finally start my Aesthetics journey. I am proud to have completed my postgraduate core training with experienced pioneering clinicians at the Harley Academy in London, the UKs leading training provider for Aesthetic Medicine.

 

I specialise in anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and lip enhancement. I am a firm believer in continual learning for my professional development, to ensure optimum patient care and to offer offer new treatment options in the future.

 

Due to the nature of roles and medical knowledge from my NHS and aesthetics backgrounds, means I am fully prepared and equipped to deal with rare complications should they arise. Therefore, you can be rest assured you are in safe and capable hands. I am also registered with a governing body and fully insured with the leading cosmetic aesthetic insurer, Hamilton Fraser. 

 

Outside of work, I am a busy Mum to my 3 year old boy, with my Husband Dan, who runs his own Heating Engineering business. I enjoy keeping fit, travelling, socialising with friends and spending time with family.
